Information You Submit
A name, location, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates the search. Lincoln County Released Inmates does not keep a separate log of those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s policy controls its handling of the query.
A message sent by email or through a contact form may include the sender’s name, email address, and whatever details the sender chooses to provide. That material is retained as needed to answer the message. It is not shared outside the operation of this site unless disclosure is required by law.
Automatic Technical Data
Ordinary web systems may record technical details when a page loads. This data supports security, maintenance, and basic measurement rather than creating a Lincoln County custody record.

Once a visitor follows an outbound link, that operator’s privacy terms apply. Lincoln County Released Inmates does not control the other site’s storage, security, or availability.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to measure activity across websites and select ads. That tracking occurs on their systems and is subject to their policies.
Recipients of Data
Personal data is not sold as a list. It can be made available only where a service or legal duty calls for it, including:
- Search partners that process a submitted query
- Analytics providers that measure site use
- Advertising networks that deliver or assess ads
- Law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid legal order
Security Has Limits
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect site operations and submitted data. No internet service, transmission method, or connected storage system can be promised as breach-proof. Visitors should avoid sending sensitive custody, medical, financial, or identity data that is not needed for a simple message.
Adults Only
This site is intended for people age 18 and older. It does not knowingly seek personal data from a minor. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contacts page to request review and deletion.
Your Data Choices
Subject to applicable law and the ability to verify a request, a person may ask what personal data this site holds, request correction of an error, seek deletion, or object to certain processing. A browser also provides controls for cookies. Tennessee’s Public Records Act, Tenn. Code Ann. § 10-7-503, governs qualifying government records; it does not turn this private site’s messages into county records.
Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may be revised as services or legal duties change. The current wording will appear on this page, and a revised effective date may be posted with a material update.
