Lincoln County Site Terms

Nature of the Service

This private reference resource points to Lincoln County and Tennessee jail, release, court, parole, and corrections sources. It stores no official government records and cannot confirm a custody event, release a person, file a public-record request, or change an agency record. Some links connect visitors with outside research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

Access is conditioned on lawful, respectful use. A visitor agrees not to:

No Consumer Reports

Lincoln County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not furnish background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and its advertising partners do not provide screening services through this site. Content may not be used to decide employment, tenancy, creditworthiness, insurance rates, licensing, permits, government-program eligibility, or any other matter governed by the FCRA.

Links Are Not Endorsements

Outbound links may lead to the Lincoln County Sheriff, TDOC FOIL, TN SAVIN, other government portals, legal resources, or third-party search services. A link does not endorse the operator or its result. Each outside service controls its own content, terms, privacy practice, uptime, and data handling.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are offered “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that information will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, free of errors or security flaws, or that a partner search will return every relevant record. Custody data changes often, and nothing published here is an official statement from the Sheriff, TDOC, a court, or another agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site, its owners, and its contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of an outside link or tool.

User Indemnification

A user agrees to defend and hold the site, its owners, and its contributors harmless from claims, costs, and reasonable legal fees that arise from the user’s conduct, misuse of information, violation of law, or breach of these terms.

Intellectual Property

Original text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Lincoln County Released Inmates or the identified content partners. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, or modified without written permission, except where law independently permits the use.

Changes and Access

These terms may be revised at any time. New wording takes effect when posted. Access to all or part of the site may also be restricted or withdrawn at any time, for any lawful reason, without advance notice.

Tennessee Governing Law

These terms are governed by Tennessee law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. A dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Tennessee. References to the Tennessee Public Records Act, including Tenn. Code Ann. § 10-7-503, describe access to government records and do not make this private site a public agency.

Severability of Terms

If a court finds one part invalid or unenforceable, the rest will remain effective. The affected provision will be narrowed only as much as needed to make it enforceable where the law permits.
